I Obviously Missed Something

Before I get into the meat of the matter I want to discuss, I want to again thank you all for your readership. I have been tracking visits and I just eclipsed the 1,000 hit mark, so thank you all. also want to thank those of you that have been responding to the articles. As I discussed with a few of you, I want the feedback. I like the discourse. I may not always agree with it and you will not always agree with me. However, that reasoning should NEVER be a reason to shut down communications. On the contrary; it should strengthen it. And, SIGN YOUR RESPONSES!

First things first, this blog is sponsored by the letters W, T, and F; as in WTF?

WASHINGTON/OSLO, Oct 9 (Reuters) - Barack Obama won the Nobel Peace Prize on Friday in a stunning decision that honored the first-year U.S. president more for promise than achievement and drew both praise and skepticism around the world.

The bestowal of one of the world's top accolades on Obama, who has yet to score a major foreign policy success after nearly nine months in office, was greeted with gasps from the audience at the announcement ceremony in Oslo.

I am sure most of you saw this. How could you not? Our president has been awarded one of the most prestigious international awards out there. Even he was shocked that he received it. I am pretty sure he and Rahm Emanuel were sitting in a hidden chamber of the White House getting high when the idea to nominate him came up. He was nominated 11 DAYS after he was inaugurated. All I remember about the first 11 days was the mess that had to be cleaned up after his posse destroyed DC. How does that qualify someone for the Nobel?

Even the people who were in the audience for the announcement did not see this one coming. If you watch the video and actually listen after the announcement, you hear a lot of groans and surprised gasps. Why would people be surprised if he actually deserved the award? They would not be. They would welcome him. They would praise him.

Well some have been praising him. Like Fidel Castro and Hugo Chavez. They both call it a "positive step". I don't know about you, but I do not like the fact that two of the leading communists in our hemisphere think anything our president does is a positive step for them. For those nations to throw off the yoke of communist repression would be a positive step. To see that they applaud this decision makes my stomach knot up.

There are also many pundits who predict this will actually HURT U.S. capabilities in the future. Pretty easy to criticize sanctions and the like when the man enforcing them is the Nobel Peace Prize winner. Maybe our enemies will get the idea that we are soft. It would have been easy to give Neville Chamberlain the prize after he appeased Nazi Germany. I mean he held off war, right. To what lengths will Obama now go to prove he deserved the award? Should we as Americans be worried?

I think we should be. He has already started the process of selling us out to the lesser nations. He wants to weaken us through guilt and appeasement. He has already put more zero's on the national debt than we did in the first 230+ years of being a nation, and he wants it bigger! He is already nationalizing U.S. industry and is looking to spread the wings of his albatross he is trying to hang around the neck of this great nation. What does he have planned for us next?

Will he be our Nero; will he simply "fiddle" as we all watch the U.S. and all she stands for burn?

Stay Safe,

Rob

  1. The people of the United States have no one to blame but themselves; they elected this Trojan horse. Hilter told them German people and the world exactly what he was going to do in Mein Kupf, and did it and yet the world acted surprised. Obama told the citizens exactly what he was going to do if elected and yet you act surprised?
Obama and all the top Democrats are socialist at best and communist at worst.
Historically, Democrats have always represented, Big goverment (which strives to take away yours alienable American rights), out of control Federal spending, control of American business and banks, appeasement to foriegn nations (for being a strong wealthly nation because of its freedoms and free citizens and capitalism)and taxing the American citizens who have used their freedom and worked hard to obtain a level of wealth and security to support those who have chosen to not work for what they have but live off the government.
Obama will be a puppet for the puppetmasters of Europe and shall sell the American wealth and business away and bow at the feet. Let you elected him knowing full well what it meant to do so and elect a socialist congress.
15 trillion dollars in debt, that is where Obama has taken us as he has weaken this country at every turn. I hope you enjoy paying that debt everyday you go to work as your Congressmen earn $386,000 a year to tax you more. You allow these political parties to dictate your life, and you act surprised.
A fair tax is a consummer tax, that means every purchase is taxed while your pay check is not and said to be able to maintain the Federal government at easily if not more, let Congress would not be able to raise that rate as easliy as a income tax, let you continue to elect these criminals from these two political parties. How about electing people who are considered "experts" in their fields to run the different legs of the Federal government which by Constitutional Law is suppose to be a small Federal government who protects the Union while the states run and govern themselves.
It amazes me, that you are surprised at all, I find the American "mob" to have become deaf, dumb and blind, more interested in their 500 channels of TV, celebrities and reality shows. Why is our education system the worst in the world of wealthly nations, simply, policitians now, that if the people are stupid and uneducated then they will not ask questions, they count on it.
As for me, I believe, you should not be allowed to hold office in Congress or as President unless you have served in the Armed Forces and fought for the nation, then, maybe, they would be less inclined to take away freedoms and bow to foreign nations. Nice "buff" piece though Rob.

  2. As much as I would like to comment on the total uselessness of both the Nobel crowd -also known as Euro-trash - or our leaders, and to get into the sleazy details of our wonderful president, I am not allowed to, so I won't.

Yes. That probably sounds like yet another freedom given up, but that is the price you pay to work sometimes. So I won't go into the selling out of America, the $500 million a DAY that we have to pay in interest, the unions, the stupidity of the American public, the very real possibility that China is going to have to come and repossess our sorry asses 'cause we can't continue to pay. Nor will I talk about the continual weakening of the dollar to the point where now we are headed to one world "basket" of currencies. (Gee. Where have I seen that foretold, like 2,000 years ago?)

No. I won't go into any of that or any thing else, including the lack of term limits, even if they are imposed by the voters in spite of the politicians or unemployment at 10% while congress raises taxes instead of getting the hell our of the way. I'm not allowed to comment on news items, so I won't. But, if I could ...
